One breed at a time
A search on Dog Dating is always inside a single breed — any of the 179 we list. We do not show “close enough” breeds when a search comes back thin, and we do not publish compatibility percentages between breeds — a number like that would be invented, and breeding decisions are not made on invented numbers.
Health in the open
Listings carry registration details and whatever screening the owner has done: OFA results, breed-specific tests, whatever they are for your breed, airway assessments, vaccination status. We show a “Health noted” chip when the section is filled in. Ask for the certificates before you agree anything — we do not verify documents for you.
Owner to owner
Contact details belong to the owners. You write directly, agree terms directly, and keep the arrangement between you. Dog Dating takes no fee, no cut of a litter, and holds no part of the contract.
What we are not
Not a playdate app, not a social network for owners, not a puppy marketplace, not a dating site with dogs as an excuse. A breeding match is a separate decision from all of those, and mixing them would make every listing less trustworthy.
